Welcome to My Blog! (nvlx in & outside of the Lab!)
Hello and welcome - This is my first post and I am super excited! My blog, (rather Our blog) is about life and how locs intersect with it.
I am a wife, a mother and a lover of everything natural hair- especially locs. I love traveling, planning events, exploring new locales for great food, true crime documentaries, and spending time with my bichon-poo and my closest friends and family.
When I am not working my full-time job, I dabble in natural hair. I'm a certified Sisterlocks™ consultant and I get to frequently practice my craft while meeting some of the most amazing and talented women in the world.
With this blog, I hope to talk about life, random topics and interest areas, and how all those things intersect with locs. Its always good to gather (whether virtually or in person!) with people that share your interests. I look forward to creating a community where we can meet and learn from one another- while having a good time.
I have a few road trips coming up within the next few months. I will definitely be bringing you all along for the journey. I'd love to hear what you have going on. Any good New Year's resolutions that you've managed to keep? :0) Anything exciting that you want to share? I want to hear from you.
